A weekend of splendor!

Hello to all my friends, online and offline.

This week’s post is about our weekend adventures. Like that’s anything new lately.

We’re now on our second week of just walking and exploring our little town.

Friday we hit the park again so that Jasmine could have some fun playing. We arrived a little late, so the kids were out playing. Jasmine was too excited seeing other kids to play, so we had to go home. She likes to make friends, too bad those kids didn’t seem eager to make friends. It’s so amazing how friendly she is with other kids. I felt bad for her because the other kids were ignoring her. She’s too young for these kids, I guess. So, we decided to bring her to the other park. She only agreed after seeing her portable DVD hanging and ready to play. She really enjoyed swinging and sliding there. We had the place to ourselves and Jasmine took advantage of it for over an hour!

When we got home, I had a package from Lollie. Thank you, Dae Lollie. And, thank you, Loloy, for sharing some of your happiness, you’re very generous. I was so wrapped up in the package, that I even neglected to prepare dinner. Oh well, hubby can handle leftovers, so can I.

Saturday I did a general cleaning of our storage, after using the computer for a while and after talking to Malou. I felt good after cleaning the storage, our storage is now clean and well organized already. Stuff that Jasmine doesn’t need anymore we can pack off to the thrift shop.

After Jasmine’s nap, we went for a walk and let Jasmine play. We walk and walk until we ended up at the soccer field. Jasmine played “soccer ball” and we played with her kicking the ball. After almost two hours, we finally got moving again. Sometimes she gets upset when we kick the ball and she has to chase it down. It makes her tired and finally she told daddy "I told you no touch. It’s my ball. You no touch!” Of course, being the giant kid he is, daddy also threw a little tantrum right back at her…”Fine, daddy no touch!” And he didn’t, even when she tried to play with him again. KIDS!

Sunday we attended Mass in the morning. In the afternoon, we went back to the castle ruins on the hill. What a view! Even though it was very hot, the view on the top of the hill was worth it. I had to keep telling my kids (Jasmine and daddy) not to go too close to the edge. Why is it that when they're together they both act like kids? Hubby was never this immature until Jasmine came along. They both loved the view, though. What a very nice place to have, especially when it's winter I think. We plan to go back there in the winter to get some awesome photos. We stumbled across my good friends Ruby and Klaus on the way home. Ruby just joined Bisdak Planet. I told her that she surprised me by joining the Bisdak.

That’s how we spent our weekend, just touring our local area. Soon, James will have some more time and money. Maybe we’ll start exploring a little further again. Towns like Würzburg and Bayreuth, where they have these pretty palaces and gardens. Even though the budget is tight sometimes, we try to squeeze in some just to explore our host country. And, really, it doesn't cost too much to explore here. Our town church may not look like much outside, but inside it's like a cathedral. The Dom in Regensburg, and other little side trips are cheap and quick to go on.

That’s all for now. I hope you guys had a wonderful weekend yourselves. Thanks to all my friends who keep passing by and leaving some comments. I appreciate you taking time to visit me here. And even though I only update it once a week or so, it’s nice to read your comments.

A special thank you and hello to Grandma Nancy and Grandma Ellen. Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment. I am very happy to see you here. We all love and miss you! We hope and pray we can see you soon.

Have a great week everyone! God Bless!
